Board Of Supervisors To Address Cell Tower Construction And Twin Creeks
Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will once again take the issue of a proposed cell tower in Jamestown tomorrow.
The board is scheduled to discuss a conditional use permit to allow Cingular Wireless to build a 95-foot tower mounted with up to 12 antenna panels and a microwave dish.
The board is also slated to discuss the tentative subdivision map for the proposed Twin Creeks subdivision.
That project proposes a 61-unit housing complex at the intersection of Greenley and Cabezut Roads in Sonora.
The supervisors will look at zoning issues associated with the project, as well as the plan to replace several oak trees on the parcel.
The meeting gets underway tomorrow morning at 9:00 in the board chambers on South Green Street in Sonora.
