Sonora, CA — Some schools are celebrating a victory today and some are trying to figure out what went wrong after the first football games of the season last night.
Sonora High School was pumped up to play on their new field turf at Dunlavy field however; the pro like surface worked in Johansen´s favor, Sonora was defeated 7 to 6.
Mariposa beat Summerville 21 to 7, and Turlock defeated Oakdale 34 to 2. Calaveras came out on top of River City 54 to 6 and Livingston beat Bret Harte 50 to 34.
