California State Fair Numbers To Match Those Of Last Year

Sacramento, CA — California State Fair officials say attendance this year is expected to match last year´s total of 918,000 visitors.
The state fair added three days to the schedule, running 22 days instead of 18 this year.
Fair officials say there was a drop in grandstand crowds and betting at the track, probably due to the decision to replace thoroughbred horse racing with harness racing.
