The $1.5 million project will also replace retaining walls, educational exhibits and access for the disabled.
Seating in multiple viewing areas will also be installed as part of the project which will be dedicated next summer.
The project is being funded by The Yosemite Fund, the Park´s primary fundraising organization, who also funded the recently completed $13.5 million restoration at the Lower Yosemite Falls area.”
The makeover is being done in partnership with the National Park Service.
