Valley Springs, CA — A Valley Springs man faces charges of possession of drugs and paraphernalia after his arrest last night.
The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department says the former girlfriend of 42-year-old Warren Claypool reported that he may have taken a handgun from her residence.
A report says deputies located Claypool at the Chevron station on Highway 26 in Valley Springs at about 8:00.
A pat search turned up a smoking pipe and a small amount of cocaine in Claypool´s pockets.
Claypool was arrested and booked into Calaveras County Jail on $30,000 bail.
