Sonora PD Now Using Crime Stopper Alert

Sonora, CA — The Sonora Police Department is announcing their subscription to Crime Stopper Alert.

The service will allow the police to immediately broadcast community alerts for a variety of reasons, including wanted suspects, crimes, and missing people. The alerts are sent to web sites and individual desktops that have placed the free Crime Stopper Alert Notification ticker on them.

The police department says the urgency of issuing the alerts within the community will dramatically improve its ability to solve individual cases more quickly.

Chief Mace McIntosh says he is pleased with launching the powerful program and believes it is a huge leap forward in empowering the Sonora Police Department with the tools necessary to perform their job better.
