Valley Springs Couple To Be Charged For Cleanup

Valley Springs, CA — Calaveras County officials will be sending a bill to a Valley Springs couple facing charges of elderly abuse.
The county is demanding restitution for cleaning up the room where a 91-year-old woman was found near death in June.
Officials say the room was cleaned by a haz-mat team because it was deemed a biohazard.
Fifty-four-year-old Alan Deyarmon and his wife 51-year-old Rosie Deyarmon are charged with elder abuse, financial abuse and two counts of child endangerment because two minor children were also living in the house.
The two remain in the Calaveras County Jail each being held on 130 thousand dollars bail.
