Hotel Room Heavily Damaged By Car

Sonora, CA — Sonora Police are investigating an incident where a car was driven into a hotel room on Washington Street.
Officers reportedly responded to a call from the Inns of California shortly after 2:30 in the morning Wednesday to find the car sitting in the room.
Police say it appears that the driver of the car ran it into the room intentionally following an argument with one of the room´s tenants.
The driver then fled the scene on foot. Police say the tenants have been uncooperative with the investigation.
Investigators say damage to the room was extensive, but no one was injured in the incident.
