Local Group Receives Sierra Lighthouse Award

Sonora, CA — A local environmental organization has won the Sierra Nevada Alliance´s annual Sierra Lighthouse Award.
The group Restore Hetch Hetchy received the award at the Alliance´s annual conference over the weekend.
Alliance leaders say the group received the award for what is being called impressive conservation victories, statewide leadership and successful strategies for other groups to follow.
Executive Director Ron Good was on hand to accept the award on behalf of the organization.
