Deputies say 41-year-old Alonzo Morris and 31-year-old Celeste McElroy turned up at a friend´s house but left the home before officers arrived.
The two were reportedly last seen heading toward the river Monday morning carrying two rafts as well as food , water and fishing poles.
A park host contacted the Sheriff´s department when he discovered the car they were using in the parking and became concerned.
Authorities say the two have outstanding felony warrants for their arrests. Morris reportedly faces auto theft charges and McElroy is wanted for burglary.
