Calaveras County Man Arrested On Numerous Probation Violations

Burson, CA — Calaveras County Sheriff´s deputies have a Burson man in custody after conducting a probation search on his home Friday afternoon.
Authorities say the search at the home of 56-year-old Darrel Lewis turned up a loaded rifle with ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and a small amount of methamphetamine, as well as prescription drugs not belonging to Lewis and a stolen credit card.
Lewis was arrested on numerous charges including possession of drugs and paraphernalia, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
He was booked into Calaveras County Jail without incident.
