Two More Cases Of West Nile Virus Discovered

Sacramento, CA — Health officials are reporting two more cases of West Nile Virus in California.

The two animals in Riverside County were euthanized after being diagnosed with the disease.

The two cases bring the statewide total of reported West Nile cases to six, with four deaths.

None of the horses involved were vaccinated The Department of Food and Agriculture is urging all horse owners to begin a vaccination program for their livestock as soon as possible.
