Sacramento, CA — A classified government document says a Lodi father and son held on terror-related charges are telling the F-B-I that six other Lodi-area men also attended terrorist training camps in Pakistan.
Hamid Hayat and his father are charged with lying to federal investigators about the young man´s time at the camp.
The pair tells investigators six others also attended the al-Qaida-linked camp, according to federal court documents obtained by The Sacramento Bee.
The documents say they were trained to target financial institutions and government buildings in the United States.
No identities or other descriptions of the six was given. The F-B-I says no one else has been arrested.
The F-B-I, federal prosecutors and defense attorneys aren´t commenting on the document.
