Three Young Adults Arrested For Mailbox Vandalism
Crystal Falls, CA –Three men are facing felony vandalism charges following a spree that left eleven mail boxes destroyed in the Fallview and Glenwood area between Phoenix Lake and Crystal Falls.
Damage to the mailboxes is said to be almost $1000. Sergeant Robin Hunt with the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s office says the three were arrested after a neighborhood resident heard noise and called the Sheriff´s Department shortly after 1:00 in the morning yesterday.
Hunt says the three arrested are 20-year-old David Gardner, 19-year-old Jason Gardner and 20-year-old Isaac Cantoo.
The felony charges were brought against the three because of the amount of damage involved.
If convicted, they could face up to year in jail and restitution costs.
