Weather Causes More Wrecks, School Delays
Weather-related car wrecks continued Monday in the Mother Lode.
Just after 7:40am, a Honda had reportedly spun out on Highway 108 near the Twain Harte Grade.
After 8am, the CHP reported a traffic hazard at the intersection of Hunts Road and Longeway Road. At least one lane of the roadway was blocked by a white Cadillac that apparently went through the chain controls without chains.
And a school bus was reportedly stuck in the snow on Kewan Mill Road this morning. It´s still not known how many children were on the bus at the time.
Black Oak, Pinecrest, Twain Harte, Southfork and Soulsbyville Elementary Schools had delayed openings by an hour on Monday, due to the weather.
