President Delivers Address Tonight
President George Walker Bush will deliver the first State of the Union Address of his second term starting at approximately 6 p.m. tonight.
Bush´s Address comes on the heels of a recent ABC news poll that shows 50-percent of Americans approve of the President´s job performance and 45-percent disapprove. Third District Congressional Representative Dan Lungren met with Bush last weekend and says the President gave him an idea of what issues he´ll tackle in tonight´s Address. Lungren says the President will likely be especially assertive in regards to reforming Social Security and in his remarks regarding prosecuting the war on terror. Tonight´s Address will be broadcast live on AM 1450, KVML, starting at 6 p.m.
