Arnold Woman’s Murder Trial Date Set

An Arnold woman charged with murder will go to trial on October 13th in Calaveras County Superior Court in San Andreas.
Patricia Anne Ordway is accused of killing 77-year old Rayburn Preston Shires in September. The suspect had previously worked as a housekeeper for Shires. Shires´ body was found on the ground of an Avery tire shop parking lot last September. Ordway has pleaded innocent to the murder charge and remains in jail with her bail set at $500,000.
