Man Hurt in 2-Vehicle Valley Springs Wreck

A 24-year-old Valley Springs man was slightly injured Sunday morning after a two-vehicle wreck.
It happened on Garner Place, south of Friedman Way, in the Valley Springs area. 24-year-old David Mendoza slowed his car to let a pedestrian cross the street, but the car behind him didn´t slow down in time and rear-ended Mendoza. That car was driven by an unidentified 17-year-old boy.
Mendoza went to Mark Twain St. Josephs Hospital for minor injuries.
