Lungren To Chair Homeland Security Subcommittee

Mother Lode area Congressional Representative Dan Lungren has just been named as Chairman of the Homeland Security Subcommittee in Congress.
The powerful Committee oversees a variety of Homeland Security related issues, including Cyber, economic, infrastructure, border and port security. Lungren will also serve on the Subcommittee on Prevention of Nuclear and Biological Attack. Lungren has an extensive law and order background, having served previously in Congress and as State Attorney General of California for several years.
