Minor Injuries After Rollover Near Little Sweden
Details have been released in an accident up the hill Sunday, west of the Little Sweden tobogganing area.
The California Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Christopher Ingram of Sonora was eastbound in the fast lane of the highway, going about 70 miles per hour in his 1991 Nissan. The CHP says he went off the roadway when it curved, he overcorrected, and then crossed the road, hit a snow bank, and overturned.
Ingram was only slightly injured, but his passenger, 20-year-old Charles Carter of Sonora, suffered from pain in his left shoulder. He was taken to Tuolumne General Hospital for his minor injuries.
