The CHP was busy with a number of traffic incidents on Mother Lode roads this morning.
Officers responded to the scene of a big-rig verses car crash on Highway 49 near Jackass Hill Road by Columbia at about 10 o´clock. Luckily, there were no injuries and the roadway was quickly cleared. The accident occurred near the turn-off to the Mark Twain cabin. No word yet on the cause of collision.
In Calaveras County, the flow of traffic was impeded on Sheep Ranch road just North of Murphys where a big rig stalled and spilled some of its cargo.
