Kidnapped Girl Found Safe

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) __ A statewide search for a 12-year-old girl has ended with the safe return of the girl to her home.
The search came to an end late last night after the man suspected of abducting her approached a stranger who recognized the pair and alerted authorities. Police in Tracy arrested 21-year-old Jose Tomas on suspicion of kidnapping.
