Two Sought in Conjunction With Crystal Falls Murder

48 year old Robert Johannes was found dead last week in his residence on Crystal Falls Drive in Sonora.

His death has now been ruled a murder and the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Dept is looking for two individuals. Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for twenty three year old Joshua Michael Mejia, WMA, 5´10″ 240 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. The other suspect is nineteen year old Rachel Lynn Demore, WFA 5´4″, 120 lbs with brown hair and hazel eyes. Both subjects are believed to be together and still in Tuolumne County. They were last seen driving a GMC, S15, Pick up Truck w/ extended cab. It is maroon with a black hood in poor condition and with California license plate number 6U40249.

Both subjects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone spotting one or both of the subjects or the pickup truck is asked to call the Tuolumne County Sherriff´s Dept immediately at either 209 533-5815 or emergency 911.
