There´s bad news for the San Francisco Giants coming out of spring training in Arizona — Barry Bonds may miss the entire upcoming season. Bonds sat at a picnic table today outside the Giants´ clubhouse and said he´s going to take things slow after his latest knee surgery.
Bonds says he is tired and disappointed following a winter in which he was accused of steroid use, his grand jury testimony was leaked and he had two knee operations. And he´s blaming his troubles — in part — on the media. Bonds begins the season third on the career homers list with 703, trailing Babe Ruth at 714 and Hank Aaron at 755.
