A new community may be developed in Tuolumne County that could bring more than 115 affordable homes to the area.
The Mountain Springs Community has been in the works for a few years now, however the developers feel that they are making great progress with the project. Ron Kopf, the Operations manager for the new community says they have worked with community groups, agencies and neighbors to come up with a balanced plan that addresses the concerns of Tuolumne County. Kopf says it is impossible to make everyone happy; however they are doing their best to get as much community input as possible.
He presented the new developments to the County Board Of Education at their latest meeting. The project could also generate more than $4 million for some area schools through litigation and development fees.
