Modesto Woman Killed After Fall From A Bridge

Police are investigating the death of a Modesto woman near downtown early this morning.
Investigators say 57-year-old Jude Ann Parker died after she fell from a bridge and was struck by a vehicle.
Police say a witness walking near the La Loma bridge saw the woman´s body lying in the roadway at about 3:30 this morning. The witness also told police that a green colored minivan was nearby.
Investigators are on the lookout for the vehicle that hit Parker, saying it should have front-end damage. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Modesto Police Department.
