Jackson, CA — A residential golf course community could boost the population of Jackson by almost 30 percent.
A report has been put together to show traffic patterns and congestion through town with the new development.
It assesses the impacts associated with the proposed 540-lot neighborhood, to be built on more than 415 acres near Highway 49.
The first phase of the construction would include 150 homes, a community center with a pool and spa, and also an 18-hole golf course.
The development could attract 1, 150 new residents to the small Mother Lode city.
