Calaveras County, CA — Starting July 1st the fees for many services, and permits may go up in Calaveras County.

On Monday the Supervisors are scheduled to consider many new fees, designed to generate more much needed revenue.

The rise in cost is expected to bring in $132,600 in revenue, which according to the county will not even cover a fraction of what they spend to provide public services.

Officials also say that the county does not get to keep all of the fee money that is collected, they say a lot of it goes to the state.
