Caltrans Plans Washington Street Repavement Project
Sponsored by:
Sonora, CA — North Washington Street will be getting a facelift courtesy of Caltrans later this month.
Crews are scheduled to remove the old pavement between Stockton Road and the Red Church, and repave the street beginning Tuesday May 17th.
Caltrans workers will carry out the project during the mid evening and early morning hours. Traffic controls will be in place which means motorists will probably be routed to one-way traffic.
Officials hope to have the repaving done by the following weekend. The street was last paved about ten years ago.
