The Farmers Market Starts This Saturday

Sonora, CA — The first Farmers Market of the season is this Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm and there are over 30 farmers registered.
9 year Farmers Market organizer Charlie Bashaw says to expect a crowd starting at 7:00am.
It is a certified farmers market so anyone who is planning on selling produce on Saturday has to be certified through the Department of Agriculture to prove that they have grown their crops in California.
According to Bashaw not only certified vendors are allowed at the market, non certified vendors are expected to sell everything from coffee and olive oil, to frozen salmon from Alaska and local beef.
The Farmers Market will run every Saturday from May 14th through October 22nd.
