Lathrop, CA — According to the Pentagon´s list of recommended military base closings, Lathrop military facility could suffer job cuts.
California is faced with losing close to 3,000 military personnel and about 5,700 civilian jobs under the plan.
Several school installations in California made the list of recommended closures, however the Defense Department spared prominent bases believed most at risk.
