Husband Implicated In Wendy’s Chili Finger Appears In Court

San Jose, CA — The husband of the woman accused of planting a human finger in a bowl of Wendy´s chili appeared in Santa Clara County court today.
Jaime Plascencia is facing charges unrelated to the finger case, and the arraignment was put over until Thursday.
Plascencia was arrested May Fourth in Las Vegas for failure to pay child support and other charges.
An affidavit filed Wednesday by San Jose police implicates Plascencia in the Wendy´s incident.
Plascencia´s co-worker severed the tip of his right ring finger in an industrial accident in December, then sold it to Plascencia, according to police investigators.
