Angels Camp, CA — Organizers are calling this year´s Calaveras County Fair and Frog Jump Jubilee the best in eleven years.
Marketing Director Laura Gianini says the number of people through the gate this year topped the 45,000 mark.
She says the exact figure was 45,456, which is up 4.2% over last year.
Gianini says more than 14,000 fair goers attended on Saturday when Chris Cagle headlined the grandstand entertainment.
She says fair organizers are already looking for an even better turnout next year.
If the same trend holds, next year´s turnout could be as much as 5% larger than this year.
