Calaveras County Republican Women Host Memorial Day Barbecue

Angels Camp, CA — The Calaveras County Republican Women in conjunction with the Calaveras Republican Central Committee are planning their annual Memorial Day barbecue at Utica Park in Angels Camp.
President of the Republican Women Judy Robertson says it will be about the community coming together. She says it won´t be a political gathering, but rather an opportunity to show support for the troops fighting in wars abroad.
Local veterans will be honored and organizers hope to present a 21-gun salute.
The Calaveras Community Band will also perform and a tri-tip barbecue will be served. Proceeds from the barbecue will go to local scholarship funds.
