Accused Robbers Await Extradition To Oregon

Undated — Two local men accused of robbing an elderly couple in Portland, Oregon will be extradited to face charges associated with the home invasion robbery in December.
24 year old Jason Barton of Long Barn and and 20 year old Charles Lee Storm of Sonora confessed to forcing their way into the couples home and binding their hands and feet before ransacking the house.
Police say the two men took nearly $50,000 worth of jewelry from the home, including the couple´s wedding rings.
The two are being held at Tuolumne County Jail without bail.
