Sonora Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening His Brother

Sonora, CA — A Sonora man remains in Tuolumne County Jail after an argument with his brother over the family dog.
Police say 28-year-old David Bell was arrested at his home on charges of making criminal threats and brandishing a weapon.
A police report indicates that during the argument, Bell´s brother threatened to cut off Bell´s head.
Bell then allegedly responded by grabbing a butcher knife, taking his brother by the throat and threatening to kill him.
Bell remains in custody on $35,000 bail.
