Investigators Identify Victim Of Fatal Shaws Flat Fire

Sonora, CA — Investigators have identified the man killed in a structure fire on Shaws Flat Road early yesterday morning.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Office says 55-year-old Daniel Fraguero died of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in a fire that fully destroyed the travel trailer he was in.
Fire crews responded to the property on Shaws Flat Road between Jamestown and Columbia shortly before 7:00 to find the trailer fully engulfed in flames.
Tuolumne County Fire along with Sonora Fire Department and CDF responded with five engines and two command vehicles.
Damage to the trailer and its contents is estimated at $15,000. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
