Family Member Finds Car Belonging To Missing Ripon Woman

Ripon, CA — San Joaquin County Sheriff´s Deputies say the abandoned car of a missing Ripon woman has been found about 2 and 1/2 miles from her home in the parking lot of a winery on highway 120 at French Camp Road.

Police say there was no evidence in the 1997 Saturn that would indicate the whereabouts of 46-year-old Mary Starkey. Starkey has been the object of a massive ground and aerial search of the Ripon area since she went missing Wednesday afternoon.

Starkey was last seen leaving in separate vehicles with a man who expressed interest in buying her boat.

Starkey is five-feet-five-inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. The man she allegedly left with is described as Latino, in his forties, clean-shaven and with a tattoo of a bird on his arm, possibly driving a rose colored mini-van.

Authorities say a $15,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Starkey´s return.
