Angels Camp, CA — Several Youth organizations serving Calaveras County will be able to better serve the youth after receiving $500 grants from the Calaveras Community Foundation to help them provide their services.
The foundation assists neighborhood organizations through a program of charitable grants, and have been able to award over $88, 000 to more than 50 recipients.
CCF president Susan Crosson said she is pleased to announce the series of grants, and added that there is nothing more important for the future of the county than the young people.
The grants were voted on at the CCF board meeting on June 14th. A second series of grants will be announced later.
