Casey Trial Postponed To May

San Andreas, CA — The murder trial of Janet Casey has been continued as agreed upon by both sides in court Monday.
Casey was arrested in August 2005 after her husband 75-year-old Frank Casey was found shot to death in a chair in front of the television in the couple´s West Calaveras home.
During a trial readiness conference Monday, both sides agreed to the continuance.
The trial was originally set for January 11 but will now take place at 8:30 a.m., May 24 in Department 6 of Calaveras County Superior Court.
