Traffic Patterns In Yosemite Change During Winter
Yosemite, Ca — Drivers in the Yosemite area should be aware of increased oversize vehicle traffic on Highways 41 and 120 due to length restrictions on Highway 140.
Park Rangers would like to remind residents to slow down, and maintain a safe driving distance from other vehicles. It is a time of year when accidents are more prevalent due to winter conditions.
The Park Rangers also advise that you carry along a winter safety kit in your vehicle. It should include a flashlight, safety blanket, and emergency medical supplies.
Finally, they remind everyone to pack in chains this time of year, as weather conditions can change quickly in the region.
