Sonora, Ca — PG and E has announced a new program for blind and visually impaired customers.
Beginning today, Nicole Tam says the company will begin offering energy bills in Braille. She notes that in the past, visually impaired customers were forced to rely on others to help read and review monthly bills.
The new service can be requested by calling 1-866-743-9757. The Braille bill is designed to be a supplement and will arrive about one week later than the original.
