Building Inspector Moves Into Top Rank

San Andreas, CA — The longtime absent deputy building director position in Calaveras County was recently filled temporarily.
The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Monday approved a working out of class assignment for supervising building inspector Jeff White.
White is filling in for Ray Waller who has been absent from his position for some time now.
County officials won´t comment on Waller´s vacancy just to say that he is out on a leave. Human Resources says Waller is still employed and receiving full salary and benefits.
Department employees have said all they know is that Waller is not in the office right now.
White has assumed the deputy director duties and will be compensated as such.
