Meeting Will Discuss Proposed OHV Recreational Trails System

Sonora, Ca — An upcoming meeting will discuss a proposal to create a sustainable and manageable Stanislaus National Forest OHV Recreational Trails System.
The areas under discussion include the Calaveras, Groveland and Mi-wok Ranger Districts. The preliminary meeting will focus on three main areas. They include the designation of the trails system, any needed changes to the main transportation system, and designating parking and access to dispersed camping areas.
A meeting is scheduled for 5pm, Wednesday, at the Sonora Oaks Best Western.
