Juvenile Arrested For Embezzlement

Sonora, Ca — A juvenile was arrested in Sonora on charges of embezzlement.
For the past several weeks, Gottschalks has been coming up short of cash in one of their registers. They were able to identify the employee responsible and called the Sheriff´s Department.
Deputy Phil Halencak responded, and took one of their store clerks into custody. A total of $500 had allegedly been stolen by this clerk since November.
The suspects name is being withheld because she is a juvenile. She is 17 years old. The minor has been turned over to a probation officer.
