Angels Parade – Fun For All

Sponsored by:

Angels Camp, CA — Horses, dogs, trucks and of course Santa Claus made up the Angels Camp parade Saturday.

Highway 49 was shut down for the annual Christmas parade sponsored by the Angels Camp Business Association.

Parade grand marshals Wilbur and Louise Fullaway, owners of Calaveras Lumber, led the procession of more than 20 entries.

One unique entry was the U.S. Forest Service wilderness pack team made up of Ranger Kris Proctor, a horse and a mule. Proctor says the animals are used to pack gear into the wilderness for trail maintenance.

The grand finale was the lighting of the town Christmas tree by none other than Santa and Mrs. Claus.
