Many Mother Lode Residents Journey Back In Time For Christmas

Columbia, CA– Many are celebrating the holidays the “old fashioned way” at Columbia State Historic Park.
Supervising Ranger Kim Baker says many things will be taking place at the park during the weekends through December 17th including candy cane making, storytelling, and Christmas crafts.
Many business owners are joining in on making the holidays as festive as possible by dressing in traditional clothing. Along with horse drawn carriage rides and roasted chestnuts being made, several visits from Santa Claus are on the agenda.
