Dispatchers Needed For C.H.P. Recruitment

Thanks to Sacramento funding, the Highway Patrol is continuing with its statewide recruiting program for both officers and dispatchers. But Officer Tom Wills says while there has not been a shortage of applicants for the former, there has been for the latter.
The C.H.P. has received sufficient fundng to recruit 173 dispatchers. An applicant must have a high school diploma or a G.E.D. The salary range runs from $3,000 plus to approximately $3,700 a month with full state benefits.
Applications for officers and dispatchers can be picked up at any Highway Patrol office. Mother Lode offices can be found in Jamestown and San Andreas.
