Mele Given Oath Of Office

Sonora, Ca — Earlier today, Jim Mele was appointed as Tuolumne County´s new sheriff-coroner.

Mele took the oath of office from Eric L. DuTemple, Presiding Judge of Tuolumne County Superior Court.

Mele was elected earlier this month. During the ceremony, he thanked his family for their support in his decision to run for the position. Many of his family members were in attendance at the County Administration Center.

Mele will complete the unexpired term of the retired Dick Rogers.
