“Second Season” Arrives In The Mother Lode

Sonora, CA — Prep football playoffs open this evening for two Mother Lode schools.
In the Division Four ranks, the 6-4 Sonora Wildcats will hit the road to meet 6-4 Rio Linda from the Central Valley Conference. Kickoff is set for 7:30 on STAR 92.7. Should the Wildcats win, they would then go on to meet the winner of the Oakdale-Colfax opening round game in the semi-final round bracket.
In Division Five, 9-1 Calaveras will host 8-2 Patterson. Should the Redskins win, they would meet the winner of the Modesto Christian-Hilmar matchup in the semi-final round. The KKBN-FM (93.5) kickoff is also set for 7:30.
